Job Description Summary
Achieving operational resilience and managing the related risks requires the development and interplay of the five key resilience capabilities, which include Business Continuity, Cyber Resilience, IT Continuity and Resilience, Third Party Resilience and Crisis Management.
The successful delivery and management of the broader operational resilience program requires a vast array of capabilities, skills and competencies. These capabilities, skills and competencies traverse the organization and must converge to achieve and sustain a desired level of operational resilience. The primary stakeholders responsible for the successful delivery of an operational resilience program are leaders from the program or functional units across business lines, the Business Continuity Management program, Information Technology, Information Security, Physical Security, Procurement and Supply Management, Operational Risk Management and Third Party Risk Management. Managing operational resilience must be aligned with and supportive of the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives. Focusing on these objectives provides the rationale for investing in resilience activities—because they enable the organization to achieve its mission.
Under general supervision, responsible for providing complex information and data analysis to support projects and/or in the overall management of a business unit/department. Develops and documents business requirements and/or business solutions to solve complex problems and issues related to the business.
Essential Job Functions
Partners with business team members to define business needs through utilization to effective data gathering techniques.
Evaluates and develops various methods of analysis and/or project planning that influence strategic initiatives.
Analyzes and evaluates data gathered from multiple sources. Reconciles differences and applies consistent approaches to data interpretation and performance measurement results.
Engages with business partners and users to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation. Ensures project dependencies are clearly defined and communicated appropriately in terms of time required to complete.
Liaises with the business, development team, and technology on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for complex examinations of current business processes and provides recommendations for improving quality and/or increasing efficiency within business unit operations.
Other Job Duties
May lead efforts in the development of business unit analytics, department or operational procedures, reporting, financial analysis, communication, and/or strategic planning activities.
Assist in writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog.
Collaborate with Product Owner and Developers to compose requirements.
Act as liaison between the customer and the project team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through higher level education combined with work experience.
May have applied knowledge of project management.
Requires 5 years minimum experience.
Requires 1 to 3 years of Agile experience.
- Bachelor's Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting necessary processes, business requirement proposals, client interaction, and project documentation as required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is highly desired.
Project management tools such as Microsoft Office suite.
Working Location Statement
This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY
