Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing a team delivering data analytics and systems administration for the Commercial Loan Servicing area. Oversees the development of analytical tools, data and process automation to support the business line.
Essential Job Functions
Manages the enhancement of the business line's data and data analytics strategy. This may include the development of related programs for the business line.
Directs the research, design, development, testing, retrieval, and data reporting; utilizing the knowledge of various software packages.
Advises on the resolution of complex analytical and data integrity problems while prioritizing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Identifies and recommends business, technology, and process improvement opportunities, advocating digital and automated solutions.
Establishes and serves as Business Line's "analytic review" function to ensure the uniformity and quality of data, and reports are delivered consistently to business partners.
Provide data on a scheduled and ad hoc basis to various control and reporting teams throughout the bank, including regulatory reporting, risk reporting, and financial reporting.
Ability to define, extract, create queries and analyze data based on a fundamental understanding of process, control and risk in support of the department’s data analytics strategy, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Prior experience communicating and interfacing with a variety of levels throughout the organization required.
Other Job Duties
Manage and/or participate in highly visible projects involving various stakeholders throughout the bank.
In conjunction with business stakeholders, develop and document business and testing requirements
Oversee UAT testing and system administration for key commercial lending applications
Leverage and advocate a customer-centric agile approach to product delivery
Managing product management activities by developing expertly defined stories, identifying and managing dependencies, ensuring research and design, following and enhancing processes, defining acceptance criteria and quality measures
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
Requires experience managing a distributed team of technical and analytic staff..
Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
Knowledge of commercial lending and commercial loan data.
Strong expertise utilizing advanced functions in Spreadsheet (Excel), SQL, Tableau, and various data reporting and report automation platforms.
Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.
