Job Description Summary
This position is within the bank’s Growth & Transformation team. This group is responsible for driving growth and transforming Bank of the West into the leading sustainable bank in the United States. You’ll join a group of driven and passionate marketers who take our commitment seriously and are 100% dedicated to driving growth and differentiating this bank. The creative and media campaigns this role will work on have been recognized with some of the top awards the industry bestows – including the Cannes International Advertising Awards, the New York Ad Festival, the Effies, the Webby Digital Awards and Fast Company magazine recognized our 1% for the Planet Checking Account as a world changing idea in 2020.
The Brand Advertising & Media Partner will provide key support in the development of advertising campaigns. This person works with both internal and external resources and will gain exposure to multiple areas of enterprise marketing including strategy and execution.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with development and execution of media and creative strategy including:
Overall creative production process (agency briefing, review mechanicals, banner animation, video, audio, compliance reviews, etc)
Overall media planning process (strategy development, agency briefing, audience targeting, compliance reviews, campaign reporting, etc)
Participate in creative and media presentations and status meetings
Participate in internal stakeholder meetings and collect and consolidate feedback
Liaise with Social team on Influencer and Content programs
Manage agency budgets (contract reviews, planned vs actual, pacing, billing and discrepancies)
Oversee and coordinate data requests for measurement
Amplification of new campaigns (internal and external channels)
Keep up to date on latest trends and opportunities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills

Proficient with 5 years minimum prior relevant experience
Well organized, detail oriented and able to effectively work in fast paced work environment
A creative thinker and resourceful problem solver
An effective communicator and able to make oral presentations
Experience working at an agency
Experience with project management
Skilled at Excel and PPT
- BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or Communications. Prefer equivalent practical or agency experience.
