Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing expertise in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes within the company and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvement solution recommendations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Partner with Bank senior leadership and subject matter experts to identify priority opportunities and provide recommendations to capture value

  • Coach, mentor and be responsible for the implementation of recommendations to capture value

  • Perform overall assessment of current business processes, policies and procedures, people performing the work and management information systems and any other complex technology used in the business to conduct work to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and/or gaps for resolution and improvement

  • Provide expertise in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and technologies within the company

  • Identify issues, form hypotheses and define and execute the necessary data gathering, research and zero-defect analysis for a project/work stream, using Six Sigma methodology where applicable

  • Perform best practice research and industry benchmarking analysis, as appropriate, to complement our analysis of internal data

  • Develop fact-based insights and findings to shape and support our recommendations of sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvement solutions

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders & team members to refine our recommendations, build momentum for change and support the successful launch, delivery and oversight of its implementation

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Requires highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • Viewed as the leading expert and/or resource within the field by peers within and outside the organization.

  • Requires 12 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field

  • Client focused, with ability to listen carefully, understand client’s problems and provide advice and potential resolutions

  • Equally comfortable leading small group discussions, problem solving in small teams, or working independently, and shifting among these effortlessly

  • Adeptness to influence actions and gain the trust and support of others to meet objectives, from top Bank leadership to front-line staff

  • Ability to travel domestically 20-60% when required; many weeks will be 0%

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio; bonus points for Tableau or other data visualization tool skills, and/or SQL and database analytics experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and emotional intelligence with every level of stakeholder

  • Eagerness to learn from and to teach others

  • Proactive approach combined with passion and a “can-do” attitude
