Job Description Summary
Individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Supports the Wealth Management Credit Team by performing the collateral monitoring system (CMS) reporting, fulfilling the requirements for the WMG loan portfolio, assists with credit analysis for new loan requests to include supporting the Senior Credit Product Officer's and other members of the team, in a variety of other portfolio management needs for the business. Works as a member of a key strategic team responsible for measuring and monitoring the Bank's credit risk by evaluating and reporting on loans and securities.
Essential Job Functions
Extracts, transforms and loads data into the collateral monitoring system (CMS) for use in various reporting and analysis formats.
Through the CMS, monitors adjusted collateral values across the Wealth management loan portfolio.
Through the CMS, analyzes and prepares principal withdrawal requests and pre-qualification reports along with recommending new loan limits for securities-based lending.
Utilizes software to generate various performance metrics and develops actionable recommendations.
Performs a variety of weekly and monthly management reporting activities across the Wealth Management loan portfolio. Responsible for performing detailed analysis and preparing reports for management on credit risk and policy metrics.
Creates and designs new reports, automating processes and reports that were previously manually prepared.
Assists in the preparation of credit approval requests and annual reviews to support the business unit’s goals.
Completes due diligence gathering and credit analysis on various new loan requests.
Other Job Duties
Supports the Senior Credit Product Officers and/or other members of the team with loan portfolio management needs for the business.
Develops and maintains a sound knowledge of prudent risk practices, credit policies and procedures, regulations and reporting procedures.
May create, update or maintain current desktop job aids to properly describe job functions and how to perform processes.
Will cross-train with other WMG Credit Product Associate’s to ensure knowledge and familiarity with all job duties to be able to perform as a back-up when needed to cover vacations, illnesses, or other absences, both planned and unplanned.
May be involved in various projects as required; Conducts ad hoc analysis as directed by management and actively identifies process improvement opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience as a Credit or Financial Analyst.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) for completing daily work, with an emphasis on advanced technical ability to use Excel and PowerPoint; Strong knowledge of Appian/TouchPoint / Host and other computer systems preferred.
Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a fast paced environment while meeting tight deadlines for completion of work; Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines; Must have attention to detail, initiative, strong work ethic and team focus; Able to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and solve problems.
Ability to work well with people across all levels within and outside of the organization; Good customer service skills.
Complete knowledge of the products, policies and processes related to unit assigned.
