Job Description Summary

Responsible for defining technical requirements, developing technical solutions and testing/reconciling said solutions to support the integration of new Data Sources for both Financial Security Analytics & Reporting and Compliance Reporting activities. Individual will be able to build and/or assist in the build of new analytics reports using approved Business Intelligence and Visual Analytics Platforms.

Essential Job Functions

Design

  • Develops a strong knowledge of applications within the bank, and interactions between systems,to develop data marts and data analytics solutions.

  • Documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

  • Creates, prepares, and documents detailed specifications of the programs utilized to pull and analyze the data. Includes: creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and data integrity of the data that is provided to the BSA/AML team members.

  • Leverages knowledge of applications within the bank to interpret data requests and identify data analytics opportunities. Design and code functions of the application in accordance with the standards and architectural guidelines.

Develop

  • Completes dataprofiling,miningandanalysis.Coordinateandprioritizeallescalatedactivities,includingtesting,projectmanagementandenhancementsandbugfixes.

  • Work with IT to integrate new systems, documents business and system logic and creates tables/views to incorporate aggregated data into reports

  • Assists in developing test plans, test conditions and scripts using basic to moderate concepts of business knowledge.

  • Assist in determining the impact of operational systems and provide input into their resolution via data extraction and quantification.

Deploy

  • Ensures the timely delivery of Business-as-Usual Reports to internal and external Finacial Security & Compliance Busines Partners

  • Works with Compliance IT and Technology teams to ensure product matches envisioned result.

  • Tests the mappings / views to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Ensures that all code and processes are documented.

  • Assist IT and Technology teams to tune the applications to meet operational production requirements.

  • Assists team members to integrate new data sources into existing reports and/or build new reports using the Bank’s approved reporting platforms.

  • Maintainscross-businessresponsibilitiesbyprovidingend-usersupporttomultipleorganizationswithinthecompanywhenissuesarise.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of directly related experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics

  • Masters / Advanced Degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred)

  • Masters in Business Administration (Preferred)

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of SAS and SQL - Required

  • Strongproblemsolving, analytical and project management skills. Ability to think on your feet, present multiple solution options, and drive defect free products/solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of Business Insight (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos) and Visual Analytics Tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle Visual Analytics, Power BI, Spotfire)

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and fulfill requirements by partnering with business and technology leads in providing high performing, scalable and maintainable solutions.

  • Abilitytoprioritize, manageandresolvemultiplecomplexandcriticalissues.

  • Ability to communicate with various levels of technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex concepts in simple terms.

  • Excellent documentation skills to keep the system knowledge current.

  • Knowledge of compliance products such as Actimize, Mantis, etc. or compliance functions such as KYC/KYA, transaction monitoring, CDD, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC/RDLC development methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of Business Systems Architecture and Relational Databases

  • Advanced knowledge of Data and Analytics
