Job Description Summary

Leads and coordinates the implementation and operation of data management activities for a Data Community, also acting as a service delivery lead and relationship manager for Enterprise Data Management Services with participants in and stakeholders of that community.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the implementation of the Data Management strategy within the in scope Data Community

  • Leads business analysis tasks as required to support the reporting workstream contribution to the EDMS processes and endeavors – this may entail, but not limited to, quantitative analysis, data consolidation and crunching, writing process documentation, writing business requirements or functional specifications, contributing to internal reporting processes, contributing to project planning & reporting processes

  • Oversees definition and set up of data integrity and quality principles/controls for their Data Community in compliance with operational norms

  • Bring community needs to adequate teams for implementation. Ensure a transversal view of data requirements, definition controls and usage along its lifecycle for their Data Community

  • Ensures effective implementation of data quality and protection management systems and tools across the Community (authority to drive the implementation at the appropriate level in the organization)

  • Oversees implementation of data governance by Business Lines / Functions (data domains) that impact their Data Community

Other Job Duties

  • Ensures alignment of Data Community Strategy with foundational EDMS guidelines

  • Communicates data community vision to stakeholders and committees internal and external on data governance evolutions, data quality improvements and remediation progress for their Data Community

  • Ensures consistency within the Community, change management and architecture / technology (data)

  • Ensures that nomenclatures used in the Data Community are up to date, as well as mapping with Group ones when needed

  • Liaises with Senior Management, Data Stewards, EDMS Functional Teams and CDO in execution of these responsibilities

  • Contributes to the global vision of data quality and integrity in his/her perimeter

  • Partners with EDMS colleagues in the establishment of Data Governance norms and procedures

  • Provides leadership and guidance to Project / Squad Leads and team members supporting the activities contributing to the scope the Data Community mandate

  • Acts in leadership capacity helping support the business model, product offering and Data Strategy od EDMS and Enterprise

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 10 years of industry experience

  • 5 years of relevant Financial / Banking sector experience

  • Prior experience and expertise in Data Governance / CDO Office

  • Prior banking experience and experienced in full project and transformation cycles from business development to final delivery

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
