Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing the Bank's Business Continuity program to include the Disaster Recovery, Business Resumption and Crisis Management programs. Partners with each of the Bank's business lines and back office operations in preparing detailed programs for each specific entity. Oversees the various aspects of ensuring the viability of the program by testing, validating and updating the business continuity plans for each of the Bank's business lines. Ensures resolution of enterprise business continuity gaps and resolves or minimizes enterprise risk. Responsible for implementing the program and coordinating command and control in executing the Bank's crisis management plan during crisis.
Essential Job Functions
Oversees the management and implementation of the Bank's enterprise Business Continuity Program through development of integrated planning documents with each of the Bank's business lines and operational support units.
Develops and tests the Bank's crisis response and disaster recovery capabilities in each of the Bank's business areas to include the primary business lines, operation and systems and key back office operations
Assesses business continuity risk to the Bank in key business areas; submits recommendations to mitigate risk, and implements solutions as directed by senior management
Builds and maintains an effective liaison program with federal, state and local emergency preparedness organizations and first responders within the Bank's geographic responsibilities
Leads and communicates operational goals to business units on a quarterly basis through the Bank Business Continuity Response Plan (BCRP) Committee.
Works with third party vendors to insure the Bank is able to resume business operations in critical areas within four to 24 hours of an event.

Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.
