Position Summary

We are currently seeking qualified talent to be responsible for security programs and processes within the Cybersecurity Office. In particular, this role will provide support for Data Protection initiatives, including enhancing data loss prevention (DLP) and sensitive data discovery capabilities.

This role:

  • Reviews DLP events, identifies false positives, assists with policy tuning, etc.

  • Contacts and educates employees regarding policy violations

  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding DLP

  • Assists in researching security events, and tracking to approved exceptions

  • Compiles and validates data custodian lists

  • Works with data custodians to remediate data

  • Tests remediation capabilities or other solutions and processes

  • Creates technical and project documentation

  • Works with asset management to ensure inventories are accurate

  • Collaborates with multiple teams within IT and throughout the Bank

  • Enhances the data inventory

  • Creates / enhances reporting and metrics

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • This position will require some evening and weekend work, including being part of an on-call rotation schedule

Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typicallyobtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • Requires 3-5 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Skills

  • 1-3 years of preferred security experience (experiencein and understanding of all security domains).

  • Experience in a regulated industry highly desirable;financial services preferred.

  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools andtechniques.

  • Knowledge of Information Security Tool deployment andoperations.

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture.

  • Ability to lead operational projects to completion.

  • Ability to conduct ROI and gap analysis for potentialand existing products.

  • Ability to work with little guidance.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Must be resourceful, creative, innovative, resultsdriven and adaptable.

  • Reviews, monitors, recommends and reports enhancementopportunities to meet bank and industry policies, standards, and guidance.
