Job Description Summary
Responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of complex Data Governance initiatives involving significant internal and/or external resources within Enterprise Data Management of corporate Finance. Programs include Data Governance working groups and management committees, Data Quality, lineage, and definition projects and assessments; Exercises great latitude in managing the initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing processes on projects. Develops business as usual processes to turn projects into operations. .
Essential Job Functions
Oversees the development and implementation of detailed project and work plans for efforts within the data governance organization. Manages the planning, documenting and execution activities for the projects; along with tasks, budgets, timelines, and project staffing to successfully complete projects on a timely basis and within budget. Develops documentation to support the project planning and implementation process.
Manages a portfolio of activities and resources across data governance, quality, and lineage subject areas.
Facilitates and provides subject matter expertise within data governance working groups and management committee
Leads and provides support to project teams by facilitation/attending project meetings, responding to assigned tasks when due.
Advises on milestones as needed for reporting to appropriate management levels and communicates budget and status milestones as defined for the projects.
Provides leadership, motivation and establishes a teamwork environment for the project team; and advises, influences, and coaches team members in the development and achievement of project goals.
Manages some members of the project team, which consists of members reporting to functional managers within the Bank, third party vendors, and consultant
Recognizes project issues and concerns requiring resolution in a timely and professional manner and addresses them with management and appropriate staff members.

Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.
